Matching, recipe planning, quantity calculations, and PDF preparation happen in the app. PaintHex does not operate an external processing service for those features.

Information PaintHex collects
PaintHex does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers. The developer does not receive your projects, inventories, matches, recipes, quantities, notes, or exported paint sheets through a PaintHex-operated server.
Photos and color sampling
When photo sampling is used, the selected image is processed on the device for the requested color selection. PaintHex does not retain the source image as part of that process and does not send it to the developer. Apple’s permission system controls access to selected photos or the camera.
iCloud synchronization
PaintHex uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to synchronize supported project information between devices signed in to your Apple Account. The data is stored in your private iCloud database and governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy practices.
Deleting data
You can delete projects and inventory records inside PaintHex and remove locally stored app data by deleting the app. Data synchronized through iCloud may remain available to your other devices until it is deleted from the app or your iCloud account.
